Blown Away

At Birkenhead Park on Saturday morning, just hours after storm Eunice had passed, leaving a trail of devastation across Wirral, Poulton Vics Bayern U8's were about to unleash their own storm against Higher Bebington Rangers.

Some of the football both teams played brightened up a wet and gloomy morning. The boys didn't let the conditions affect their passing game, with some amazing team goals scored.

Thomas Scott opened the scoring for Bayern, expertly finishing a great passing move, and plenty more goals followed. Aidan Pearson bagged himself an excellent hattrick, as did Joseph Cullen. Reece Kelly smashed in a volley from distance, and newcomer Shay slotted home a couple of times at the end of some flowing moves. Whilst not getting his name on the scoresheet, Max Roberts did bag a number of assists.

An all-round excellent team performance.
